William C. Pash, 63
Died at his home in Bellefontaine Saturday at 2:25 a.m. as the result of several weeks' illness from heart disease, dropsy and a complication of diseases. He was born near Huntsville and had spent a portion of his life on the farm and had been employed at a the Big Four shops in Bellefontaine. He was affiliated with the Brotherhood of Railroad Employees. He leaves the following children, Walter, William, Edward, Mrs. Clarence Barger of Springfield; Robert of Oberlin, Leonard of Ft. Bennington, GA.; Mrs. John Brake of Bellefontaine, Mrs. Everett Van Voorhis of Bellefontaine and Roberta at home. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. William H. Leasure of Rushsylvania and a brother, John, at home. Funeral services were held in the Kennedy funeral home in Bellefontaine Tuesday at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev. F. A. Holderman. Burial in the Harper cemetery.

Bellefontaine Resident Dies Monday Following Stroke; Burial Made Here.
Final rites were conducted this afternoon in the Kennedy Funeral home in Bellefontaine for Mrs. William C. Pash, 62, with the Rev. E. J. A. St. Louis officiating. Interment was made in the Belle Center-Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Leona Pash, the daughter of Alvin and Kate Benton, born in this county on Sept. 28, 1885. She died at 7:50 p.m. Monday in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, where she was admitted Saturday after suffering a stroke of paralysis Friday evening at her home. She was married on July 4, 1900 to William C. Pash, who died on September 18, 1937.
Survivors include four sons Walter, Leonard and Edward Pash of Bellefontaine and Robert Pash of Oberlin; four daughters, Mrs. Everett Van Voorhis, Mrs. Isaac Brake, Mrs. Clarence Barger and Mrs. Joseph Dow of Bellefontaine; 24 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hughes and Mrs. Iva Mummey, northwest of Bellefontaine; one brother Ben Benton of Bellefontaine, an aunt and several nieces and nephews.

Walter A. Pash, 75, of Huntsville, who had been in failing health, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, Friday at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Pash was born December 4, 1901, in Northwood, a son of William C. and Leona Benton-Pash. His father preceded him in death September 18, 1937, and his mother on September 20, 1948.
On April 23, 1923, in Lima, he was married to Myrtle Nolan, who died December 28, 1974.
The deceased was a member of the Gospel Center in Lakeview. He had retired from railroading.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Shifflett of Huntsville; two sons, Glenn E Pash of Bellefontaine and Roger T. Pash of Grants, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Pash of Kenton and Leonard Pash of Orange City, Fla., and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Brake and Mrs. Joe (Roberta) Dow of Bellefontaine and Mrs. Mary Barger of Sheffield Lake.
Three brothers are dead, Robert C., who died April 28, 1973, Charles on September 30, 1927, and an infant on November 15, 1907; and also a sister, Mrs. Everett L. (Cecile Marie) Van Voohis, who died September 22, 1962.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Eexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff with the Rev. J. A. Steele and the Rev. Robert Leopard officiating. Interment was made in Greenwood Cemetery there.

Mrs. Myrtle Mae Pash, 79, of Huntsville, died in Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, on December 28. She was born in Delmont, Pa., January 31, 1904, the daughter of Hugh and Mary Mayhugh-Nolan. She was married to Walter A. Pash in Lima on April 23, 1923 and he survives.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Pash is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Chifflet, Heritage drive, Bellefontaine; two sons, Glen Pash, Bellefontaine, and Roger Pash, Huntsville; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lewis (Josephine) Hatcher, DeGraff; two brothers, David A. Nolan, East Liberty, and Raymon Nolan, DeGraff. One son and three brothers are deceased.
Funeral services were held December 31, in DeGraff with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery.

Leonard Drell Pash of Orange City, Fla., a retired U. S. Army captain who was born in Logan County, died Saturday, Sept. 10, at the V. A Medical Center in Dayton.
Mr. Pash was born My 11, 1905, in Northwood, the son of William C. and Leona Benton Pash. He was married Nov. 8 1930 to Ada Short and she died March 8, 1982.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Codrington of Lake Helen, Fla., and Mrs. Joseph (Roberta) Dow of Bellefontaine; a brother, Edward Pash of Kenton, and several nieces and nephews in this area. Two sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Mr. Pash had retired after 30 years in the U. S. Army.
He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Bellefontaine and was a 25-year member and past president of the Lions Club in Orange City. He was a founder and past president of the Spring Lakes Volunteer Fire Association at Orange City and a member of the Retired (Army) Officers Association.
A military service will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Lankford Orange City Chapel, where friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City.

Relatives in Logan County have received word of the death of Mrs. Leonard (Ada) Pash, a former Bellefontaine resident. Mrs. Pash, 73, died Thursday in Orange City, Fla., where she made her home.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard, and numerous relative in Logan County.
While Mrs. Pash resided in Bellefontaine she was employed at the J. C. Penney store.
Services will be Sunday in Orange City.

Laura Belle Brake, R. 2, Belle Center, died this morning at 7:30 in San Antonio Professional Nursing Facility in Kenton where she had been taken earlier this week. She had been ill for several months.
Born Jan. 21, 1911 in Northwood, she was the daughter of William C. and Leona Benton Pash. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, the Harper United Methodist Women and the Rushsylvania Rough Riders.
For 25 years Mrs. Brake worked at the Logan County Fairgrounds during fair week.
She was married to John I. Brake on April 20, 1931. He preceded her in death July 16, 1965. Four sons, three brothers and a sister are also deceased.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Jane) McBride, R. 2, Belle Center, and Mrs. Mark (Elizabeth) Braunotte of Urbana; a grandson Donn McBride; two brothers, Ed Pash of Kenton and Leonard Pash of Orange City, Fla; and two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Roberta) Dow of Lawrence Street, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Codrington of Lake Helen, Fla.
Mrs. Brake is also survived by a nephew and two nieces whom she reared as her own children; Thomas Barger of West Liberty, Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) Davis of Lakeview and Mrs. Connie Caton, 101 E. Williams.
The Rev. Robert Underwood will conduct services Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Eichholtz Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harper Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Cancer Society.

Charles Pash, 522 Cooper Avenue died Monday afternoon at his home following an illness of Typhoid Fever. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Pash
Charles Pash was 16 years old. He had been ill for six weeks. Edward Pash a son of the home is ill of typhoid fever at this time.

Former Hardin County resident William E. "Ed" Pash, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1991, at Logan Acres, where he had resided for the past seven years. He was 73 years of age.
Mr. Pash was a welder at Wilco Company of Kenton. He was active in the Hardin County Sheriff's Department Auxiliary and the Dunkirk Police. He also was a member of the National Guard.
Born in Bellefontaine on March 25, 1918, he was a son of William C. and Leona Benton Pash.
Survivors include two sons, Myrl Pash of Kenton and Lindsay Pash of Findlay; two stepsons, Earl
Shisler of Columbia, S. C. and John Shisler of Fostoria; four daughters, Mrs. James (Betty) Small of Zanesfield, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Spain of West Liberty, Kristine Lee of Mt. Cory and Madeline Kramer of Dunkirk, and one stepdaughter, Susan Rizor of Findlay.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Birdie) Dow of Bellefontaine; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Mike Sandlin will conduct graveside services Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Belle Center Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
There will be no visitation. Eichholtz Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Roberts Maggie "Birdie" Dow, 73, of Lawrence Street, Bellefontaine, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993, in Grandview Hospital, Dayton.
Mrs. Dow was born in Harper on April 23, 1920 to William C. and Leona Benton Pash. A homemaker, she married Joseph S. Dow on May 6, 1938, and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Stanley E. Dow, of Aurora, Ill., and Joseph A. Dow of Lakeview; five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Six brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, where the Rev. Dwight Baldwin will officiate at 1 p.m. services Wednesday. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
